Job profile
• Assisting in developing the underwriting guidelines for each product to achieve profitability.
• Aiding in carrying out regular market mapping to gain maximum market share along with maintaining profitability.
• Underwrite transactions authority limits within defined TATs
• Recommend decisions for transactions beyond authority limits
• Appropriate & timely resolution of escalations
• Market mapping of UW guidelines
• Identify the process lapses
• Coordinate with IT/Support functions for rectification
• Review Underwriting guidelines periodically
• Stay abreast with newer UW processes/suggest improvements in UW
• Branch visits, update sales team latest changes in the UW requirements
• Acquire required technical qualification and training.
• Update and provide guidance to the New Joiners about the Internal as well as external processes

Technical skills: Retail Underwriting, Underwriting

Soft skills: Good communication skills, problem solving, interpersonal skills, analytical thinking

Educational Qualification: Any graduate

Experience: 8-10 years of team handling
