However, maintaining inventory at optimum level is a perennial challenge. On the one hand there is risk of stock out and building up of excess inventory on the other. Maintaining inventory at optimum level is essential for business organisation to generate additional profits. In general, this program will be useful for personnel involved in inventory management, stores management, warehouse management, materials management, purchasing, procurement, supply chain management.
